This view: the only nice thing about this Airbnb

It seems to be getting harder to find time to write. It could be because now I am taking care of the two cats without Max's help (with T's diarrhea and vomit and Q's fungal skin problem, I am the only who can keep track of meds and food) and I am interpreting more hours for two companies. Also, I have been busy moving to this new Airbnb and doing research on Oaxaca for next winter. Sadly, I am not very excited about either this new place in Cabo or the one in Oaxaca. The new Cabo apartment is super run down and all the room lights are pale blue fluorescent and the furniture is old and ugly and the beds aren't as comfortable as the previous place and the sheets are made of polyester. Ok, I admit I sound totally spoiled complaining about sheets (but they feel really bad on my skin;;). 

So, who am I blaming for these issues? Max! Who else? His top priority is VIEWS. And he is a light sleeper, has a sensitive ear, can't stand noises. Therefore, we passed on nicer airbnbs with a less-than-ideal view (Costco was right in the front) and a place with FREE hotel breakfast. 

This gloomy apartment is triggering me. It reminds me of my depressing childhood. Max is going to get yellow light bulbs to replace with on the lamps but I'm not sure how much it's going to help me. Also, I don't want to go back to New York. Moving from place to place is wearing me down. I'm not happy either here or there.....
